Jesus gave himself for us on the cross. This in turn enables us to give ourselves in loving, self-sacrificial service each other. We give when we put the needs of others first.

There are many opportunities to give yourself in service to others locally and further afield.

Locally we have immediate need for office helpers, gardeners, greeters, musicians, and others.

Give your possessions — Second Hand Rose

‘Second Hand Rose’ is a community op-shop, selling ‘pre-loved’ goods, operated by Zion Lutheran congregation. The shop is fully staffed by volunteers, and accepts donations. Proceeds are donated to worthy causes each year (e.g. proceeds from 2017 were donated to an African orphanage).
